Fire erupted at two places in New Karachi on Thursday with fire-brigade teams were at the scene to douse the blazes.Fire erupted at a godown of clothes in Godhra Muslim Society, while in the second incident it erupted at a godown of woods at Nullah Stop.

Three vehicles of the fire brigade department were busy extinguishing the blaze at the godown of clothes, while two fire tenders at the godown of woods. Fire brigade department officials said that at both these sites, fire had been stopped from spreading.

However, they said that the cause of the fire could not be ascertained. They further said that no loss of life had been reported and that flames would be doused soon.
