Police killed five target killers in an encounter in the Daudzai area. SSP Operations Mian Saeed said the gang was planning attacks on police and was operating under the patronage of notorious criminals Lal Sher and Jan Sher. The gang was involved in 30 target killing incidents, including murders in Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, and Dara Adam Khel.

Two police officials, ANP leader Momin Khan, and his brother were also among the victims. The gang had also targeted a transgender person, leaving them injured.The operation was conducted against Najmal Hassan alias “Paine Group,” during which all five suspects were killed.
