In an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Hyderabad, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested an India-backed terrorist affiliated with the banned Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA). According to the CTD spokesperson, the arrested militant was found in possession of receipts related to terrorist financing and a significant amount of funds allegedly intended for subversive activities. The CTD spokesperson further stated that during the search, officers recovered an SRA membership card, an Indian flag, a hand grenade, and other illegal weapons from the suspect’s possession.

The spokesperson identified the arrested man as Parkash, who was taken into custody from Anwar Villas Road in Hyderabad. The spokesperson added that several cases have already been registered against him at the CTD Hyderabad police station. According to the spokesperson, two accomplices of the arrested suspect managed to flee during the operation. Raids are underway to apprehend them. In a separate law enforcement action in Karachi, a gang involved in a series of violent home robberies was busted.

The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the CIA conducted a significant raid and arrested two suspects, identified as Dost Sahito and Shoaib Ahmed, from the Bin Qasim area. SSP Amjad Sheikh stated that the arrested men were also involved in illegal land grabbing, and investigations revealed that a well-known builder had allegedly facilitated their activities. He said the suspects were wanted in multiple cases of house robbery, murder, and theft, and the police have recovered two pistols and several rounds of ammunition from them.

According to investigators, on September 22, the duo carried out a house robbery in the Gulshan-e-Falaknaz area, during which a 67-year-old man named Javed was killed after being assaulted by the robbers. The robbers fled the scene with gold jewellery, 400,000 rupees in cash, and other valuables. A case has been registered against them at the SIU police station, and further investigations are underway.
