In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the New Delhi-installed Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha regime on Friday dismissed two  Muslim government employees on the baseless charge of having links with pro-freedom organizations. According to Kashmir Media Service, the BJP regime dismissed a teacher, Khurshid Ahmad Rather, and Assistant Stockman, Siyad Ahmad Khan, from their service in the Sheep Husbandry Department in Kupwara district. 

The highly corrupt, communal-based anti-Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha in his so-called order terminated them and described their dismissal in the interest of Indian security. The Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, today terminated the services of two government employees in the territory over their alleged involvement in pro-freedom and anti-India activities, Indian officials said. 

Over 500 Kashmiri Muslim government employees have been sacked by the BJP administration on similar charges since 2015 when the BJP became the part of IIOJK government and mostly after Kashmir’s special status Articles 370 and 35A were illegally and militarily revoked by the Indian BJP government in 2019. Observers believe that Kashmiri Muslim employees are being selectively targeted. Officials said the action is part of the administration’s continued crackdown on pro-freedom people and sympathisers in the government institutions.
