Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has successfully concluded its post-Hajj operation, bringing back more than 41,500 pilgrims to Pakistan through 147 flights. According to the PIA spokesperson, the month-long operation began on June 10 and ended on July 10. The final post-Hajj flight from Madinah arrived in Islamabad on Thursday night at 8:30 PM. PIA operated the Hajj flights using Boeing 777 and Airbus A320 aircraft. The national carrier maintained over 90 percent on-time departure performance throughout the operation. The Hajj return flights were operated from multiple cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Quetta, Multan, and Peshawar.
