The District Police on Thursday held a flag march in different areas to maintain law and order during Muharram-ul-Haram. Deputy Commissioner Safiullah Gondal, SP Investigation Muhammad Saleem Khattak, officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army participated in the march. The DSPs, SHOs, Elite Force, Rescue 1122 vehicles from across the district participated in the march.

The flag march passed through different areas of the city and culminated at Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Chowk. The aim of the flag march is to give the citizens a sense of peace, security and safety during Muharram-ul-Haram. Strict security arrangements have been ensured during the holy month and mischievous elements will be dealt with strictly. The arrangements of all allied departments regarding Muharram-ul-Haram have been completed.
