The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to stage a protest outside the Supreme Court of Pakistan against the recent disqualifications by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).  A meeting of the PTI parliamentary party was held under the chairmanship of Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, with opposition alliance leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai and other members in attendance. 

According to sources, the meeting discussed the disqualification of members and arrests during the workers' protest rally, along with strategies for a nationwide protest on August 14.  Reports say that the PTI parliamentary committee meeting concluded with a decision to protest outside the Supreme Court. PTI members of parliament will demonstrate in front of the apex court.
