In view of the prevailing law and order situation, security around the Adiala Jail has been put on high alert, while a special security plan would remain in effect for an indefinite period.According to details, heavy police deployment has been positioned at five checkpoints along the routes leading to the jail. These checkpoints have been set up at Dahgal, Jail Gate-1, Gate-5, Factory Naka, and Gorakhpur, where police personnel will remain stationed.

Police officials will perform 12-hour duty shifts, with SHOs from 12 police stations, along with female officers and additional staff, deployed for security. More than 700 personnel from the RMP force, Punjab Constabulary, and local police stations have been assigned to the operation.Security staff will be equipped with rubber bullets, tear-gas, batons, shields, and anti-riot gear. Furthermore, 10 officers and personnel from the Traffic Police have been deployed, while lifters and prisoner vans will also remain on standby.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar, Anam Sher, will directly supervise the security duties. SHOs and police personnel from the stations of Gujar Khan, Mandrah, Kahuta, Kallar Syedan, and Dhamial will remain deployed, along with those from Chakri, Rawat, Chontra, Women Police Station, Morgah, Cantt, and Saddar Barooni. Overall, 23 inspectors would lead the deployed contingents.
