Six dacoits dead in encounters with  policeتازترین

Six accused were killed and seven escaped during four police encounters in Lahore.The first police encounter took place in the Green Town area of Lahore, in which an under-custody accused died when his accomplices opened fire on him. Sources in Crime Control Department (CCD) said that a CCD team was taking accused Ali Asad for identification when suddenly his accomplices attacked the CCD team.  During the exchange of fire, the accused Ali Asad received critical injuries. He was being shifted to the hospital, but died on the way. 

CCD sources further revealed that the accused’s accomplices escaped from the scene, taking advantage of the darkness. The CCD team started a search operation to apprehend the culprits. In a separate police encounter in Nishtar Town area of Lahore, two dacoits who were identified as Wali Dad and Mohsin died at the firing of their accomplices. Police shifted their dead bodies of the accused to the hospital’s mortuary for post-mortem. Police said both dacoits were wanted by the police in various criminal cases. 

In another police encounter in the Civil Lines area of Lahore, two dacoits were gunned down during a heavy exchange of fire with the Crime Control Department. The CCD team said that these dacoits were looting the citizens near Ring Road, when a CCD team led by CCD Incharge Aslam reached, the accused opened fire on them. The dead dacoits were identified as Qaisar alias DC and Raza. In a police encounter which took place near Harbanspura Railway Crossing one accused Anas was arrested in an injured condition.  Police ASI Anas was taking the injured accused to the hospital, but he died on the way.

 The CCD team shifted the bodies of all the accused to the hospital’s mortuary for post-mortem. In another police encounter in Ubaro, one dacoit was killed, and his three accomplices fled away from the scene. A spokesman of the police said that the dacoits were standing at Hasoodo Link Road to commit robbery when the police team reached the spot, the dacoits started firing. During the exchange of fire, one dacoit died, and his three colleagues escaped from the scene. The identification of the dead dacoit is still unknown.
