Two police officers were martyred on Wednesday when unidentified assailants opened fire on them in Balochistan's Noshki district.  The incident took place near the Eastern Bypass, where armed men targeted police personnel on routine patrol duty.  Police officials confirmed that both officers died on the spot due to multiple gunshot wounds.

The attackers managed to flee the scene following the shooting.  The bodies of the martyred officers were shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for medico-legal procedures.  Security forces have cordoned off the area, and a search operation has been launched to trace the attackers.
