A woman and son were shot dead, while another son sustained critical injuries after armed assailants allegedly stormed a house and opened indiscriminate fire in Shahdadkot on Monday.The incident took place in Gul Muhammad Chacho village, which falls within the jurisdiction of Behram Police Station.According to initial reports, the attackers entered the house and opened fire, killing two family members on the spot and seriously injuring another. 

The deceased were identified as Nazeer Ahmed, son of Muhammad Ramzan Chacho and Inayatan, wife of Muhammad Ramzan Chacho. Muhammad Juman, also son of Muhammad Ramzan Chacho, was critically injured in the attack and was shifted to Larkana for emergency medical treatment due to the severity of his condition. Police reached the scene immediately after receiving information about the incident.

The bodies and the injured man were transported to the hospital, while the area was cordoned off and an investigation was launched. According to sources, the attack is believed to be linked to a long-standing family dispute. Reports suggest that the victims' family had established matrimonial ties with the Chandia community several years ago, but the relationship later ended, leading to tensions and an ongoing dispute between the two families. 

Police said investigations are underway from multiple angles, and efforts have been intensified to arrest those involved. Officials added that the exact motive and circumstances behind the attack will only be confirmed after the investigation is completed.
