FIFA has announced its Best Player of the Year awards, recognising outstanding achievements in football for both men and women. In the men’s category, France’s Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembélé was named Player of the Year, following a stellar season in which he scored a league-high 21 goals in the French league. 

In the women’s category, Spain’s Aitana Bonmatí was awarded the Best Player of the Year, celebrating her exceptional performances and contributions to her club and national team.  The prestigious FIFA Best Player of the Year ceremony took place in Doha, Qatar, bringing together football stars from around the world to honour the achievements of the sport’s top talents.
