United Arab Emirates captain Muhammad Waseem has rejoined the Karachi Kings squad ahead of the Karachi leg of the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League, which begins today (Wednesday). He returned to the side on Tuesday prior to their home fixtures, set to commence with a match against Peshawar Zalmi at the National Bank Stadium on Thursday.

The development was shared by the franchise in a light-hearted video on social media, in which the experienced top-order batsman remarked that he had travelled back to the UAE only to bring chocolates. Karachi Kings, champions of the 2020 edition, have secured three victories from three matches and now prepare to face the challenge on home soil.
