Digital transformation, cloud services fuel boom of PTCL’s business solutions revenue

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has leveraged digital transformation and cloud services to drive significant growth in its business solutions revenue, reports WealthPK.PTCL’s cloud platforms are helping businesses, startups, and government organisations modernise, become more agile, and cut costs by providing scalable, secure, and efficient digital infrastructure.

Additionally, the investment in cloud services has strengthened revenue growth and established PTCL as a trusted partner for organisations embracing digital change. PTCL has successfully tapped into new market segments and is meeting the demands of an increasingly digital-first economy with the launch of advanced public cloud solutions and managed ICT services.

The company posted revenue of Rs107.77 billion, and achieved a 31% year-on-year growth in its operating profit, which stood at Rs6.36 billion. Its net profit reached Rs2.27 billion, marking a major turnaround from previous years. The growth was fuelled by gains in fixed-line, wholesale, and business solutions like advanced data centres and public cloud platforms.

Moreover, PTCL’s Flash Fiber service continued to lead the market, while its data centre, cloud, and ICT services saw strong growth across public, private, and international clients. This expansion has further cemented PTCL’s position as Pakistan’s leading integrated telecom services provider. PTCL also maintained its leadership in Fiber to the Home (FTTH) with a 36% market share, while continuing to expand its presence in the mobile and business solutions segments.

This growth was supported by cost optimisation, greater operational efficiency, and a sharp focus on high-value digital services. Therefore, PTCL’s growth in business solutions, driven by advanced data centres and cloud platforms, enhanced customer experience with services like SCope TV and WhatsApp Bot, solidifying its position as a digital leader.

As a result, PTCL’s digital transformation is driving economic growth in Pakistan by enhancing business productivity, creating jobs, and empowering startups with affordable digital solutions. Its cloud services are also improving public services and governance, with the impact felt across key sectors like banking, retail, healthcare, and education.
