Gilgit-Baltistan Freelancers Association launched

The Gilgit-Baltistan Freelancers Association (GBFA) has been established in Gilgit to assist current and aspiring freelancers throughout the area as a result of the industry's explosive expansion online. The GBFA, which has more than 200 members from all districts, intends to encourage freelancing in Gilgit-Baltistan so that young people, particularly women, may become financially independent. The executive committee of GBFA is led by President Ghulam Rehman, the founder of Needs Online Pvt. Ltd, followed by Senior Vice President Nadia Iqbal, who is Co-founder of Tech Alphalogix and a national award-winning freelancer.

According to Ghulam Rehman, the association's main goal is to support and defend the rights of freelancers and inspire young people, both male and female, to become successful freelancers through advocacy, education, and training.In Gilgit-Baltistan, he stated, freelancing is expanding quickly. He pledged that the GBFA will equip educated youths with soft skills by holding specialised training sessions in all of Gilgit Baltistan.
