Pakistan’s major trade exhibitions have so far generated $312 million in actualized business, while deals worth another $675 million remain in process.

According to official data available with Wealth Pakistan on the outcomes of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan’s (TDAP) flagship events, four major exhibitions held during 2024 and 2025 generated an estimated $3.364 billion in business opportunities.

The events — the 2nd FoodAg 2024, 5th TEXPO 2024, 4th HEMS 2025 and 3rd FoodAg 2025 — collectively attracted 3,100 foreign delegates, 1,150 exhibitors and facilitated 17,825 business-to-business (B2B) meetings.

The 2nd FoodAg 2024 generated the highest estimated business value of $1.2 billion. The event attracted 873 foreign delegates from 73 countries, featured 320 exhibitors, and resulted in 6,425 B2B meetings. Of the business generated, $39 million has been actualized, while $205 million remains in process.

The 5th TEXPO 2024 attracted 527 foreign delegates from 60 countries and 272 exhibitors. A total of 2,700 B2B meetings were held, generating an estimated business value of $982 million. The event has so far resulted in $135 million in actualized business.

The 4th HEMS 2025 brought together 850 foreign delegates from 70 countries and 186 exhibitors. The event facilitated 3,000 B2B meetings and generated an estimated business value of $452 million. Business worth $67 million has been actualized, while $249 million remains in process.

Meanwhile, the 3rd FoodAg 2025 attracted 850 foreign delegates from 85 countries and featured 372 exhibitors. The event recorded 5,700 B2B meetings and generated estimated business value of $730 million. Of this, $71 million has been actualized, while $221 million is currently in process.

The official figures show that FoodAg events alone accounted for $1.93 billion in estimated business, while TEXPO and HEMS generated estimated business values of $982 million and $452 million, respectively.

The substantial volume of business still under process indicates that trade exhibitions are generating significant export potential beyond the deals already converted into actual business.

The data also highlights the importance of sustained B2B engagement, international participation, and sector-specific exhibitions for expanding Pakistan’s export base and converting foreign buyer interest into commercial transactions.
