While out of these 25 products ASEAN exporters received favorable regime having zero rating has been on 18 items, while for Bangladesh, China has given status of Least Development Countries where about 16 products get zero rating. The government should table these proposals in the upcoming visit proposing preferential trade agreement which would help enhance the trade to around $3.7 billion from present level of $800 million. According to an analyst the government instead of asking for hefty loans from brotherly countries and especially China to give more access to their markets which would have a chain impact on the country’s economy.
