The passing of Ali Khamenei at the age of 86 has deeply saddened millions of people around the world. For decades, he served as the Supreme Leader of Iran and remained one of the most influential figures in the Muslim world. Many of his supporters believe that he did not step away from challenges or pressure but remained firm in his beliefs and leadership until the end. His death is being seen by many as a significant loss for Muslims globally.
In Pakistan, people from different communities have expressed grief and respect following his passing. Muslims across the country held gatherings, shared messages of condolence, and prayed for him. However, what stood out was that the tributes were not limited to Muslims alone.
Members of other religious communities also showed empathy and respect. A Pakistani Sikh citizen publicly paid tribute to the late Iranian leader, describing his gesture as a symbol of humanity that rises above religious and national boundaries. Such acts are rare but meaningful, especially during times when people from different faiths come together to show solidarity.

Similarly, a Pakistani Hindu influencer, Jassi Sharma, also expressed support for the Muslim community during this time of mourning. Instead of celebrating the Hindu festival of Holi in the usual festive way, she chose to stand in solidarity with grieving Muslims. In a social media post, she wrote that she felt a deep sense of pride and warmth, saying that Pakistani Hindus showed empathy in a simple yet powerful way.

These gestures highlight how compassion and respect can unite people beyond religious differences, showing that humanity often speaks louder than divisions.
