People are very angry about a shocking food safety incident in Lahore. A well-known bakery in Lahore selling unhygienic products and not just unhygienic guess what, there was a live Rat inside a Halwa box.  A woman who was a customer filmed the disturbing video, which has been shared widely on social media. Many people are horrified and have new questions about the cleanliness of popular bakeries.

The woman in the viral video opens the sweet box in front of the bakery staff and shows them a rat moving around inside the halwa container. She is said to have filmed the whole thing live, showing viewers what she called the "real condition" behind a well-known bakery brand. The woman also clearly showed the bakery's name on camera and told people to be careful when they bought things.

In 2023, similar case of live rat was found in Lahore and authorities made sure to sue them and close the bakery permanently. These kinds of things keep bringing up serious issues with how food is handled and how clean commercial kitchens are.

Experts in food safety say that bakery products that are contaminated can be very bad for your health. Rodents can carry bacteria that can make you sick, give you food poisoning, and other illnesses. For customers, the event serves as a reminder that a brand's reputation and looks don't always mean they are clean.

The Punjab Food Authority has shut down several sweet shops and bakeries in Lahore in the last few years because they were dirty and used unsafe ingredients. Recent inspections found many problems in bakery and candy-making units all over Punjab, such as dirty storage areas and areas where food was prepared that were contaminated.

A lot of customers are now asking for stricter rules and harsher punishments for food businesses that break the rules. People say that food businesses, especially well-known brands, should have to follow stricter rules because they affect public health.
