The long-awaited finale of Muamma finally aired on HUM TV, and it left viewers feeling emotional and very divided about what would happen to one of its most controversial characters, Jahan Ara.
Jahan Ara died tragically at the hands of her ex-husband Sarmad in the last episode. He came back after Sarfaraz's plot against her sister was revealed. The last scenes also showed Shahjahan, the tenant, quietly giving the house keys to the watchman and then quietly leaving Jiji's house, which brought the story to a sad end.
But fans were most upset about Jahan Ara's death.
A lot of people think her ending was unfair because the whole time, the show made her look like a woman who was always in pain. Fans say that the people closest to her wronged her her whole life. Her father and brother never really trusted her. Shahjahan, who at one point seemed to understand her, also let her down. Because of this, she had to marry a mean man, and even after that, she was never happy or at peace.
For these viewers, the end should have had at least one moment of redemption. They think that after all the pain she's been through, the drama should have shown that something good finally happened in her life.
Some fans, on the other hand, strongly disagree. They say that Jahan Ara killed a lot of people along the way. People think that what she did caused broken homes, hurt relationships, and a lot of divorces. From this point of view, people think she didn't deserve a happy ending because she made other people suffer.
The ending of Muamma has become one of the most talked-about drama endings in the last few weeks. This shows once again that complicated characters often have the biggest effect long after the screen fades to black.
