The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) plans to construct a multipurpose sports complex/courts along with two padel courts in Faisalabad under a PSDP-funded project costing Rs25.347 million.

According to documents available with Wealth Pakistan, the project titled “Construction of Multipurpose Sports Complex/Courts and Two Padel Courts at Faisalabad” was approved during FY2025-26.

The project forms part of efforts to strengthen sports infrastructure by providing additional facilities for athletes and sports activities in Faisalabad.

The PSB has already initiated the procurement process and published the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) in newspapers on January 6, 2026.

The tender was subsequently uploaded on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) on January 22, 2026, and on the websites of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and the Pakistan Sports Board.

Through a subsequent corrigendum, the deadline for bid submission and opening was extended to February 2, 2026.

The procurement process has since moved into the technical evaluation stage. The PSB uploaded the Technical Evaluation Report on EPADS on June 2, 2026.

The development and procurement process being undertaken by the Board for the sports facilities has now been brought up for discussion.
