Grand Mosque receives 2 million worshipers on Ramadan’s 29th night… Impressive success of crowd management plansBreaking

In a spiritual atmosphere and a system of operational excellence in the services offered according to the highest standards of quality and safety, more than two million worshipers witnessed Tarawih prayers and recited the Qur’an in the Grand Mosque on the night of the 29th of Ramadan.  The General President of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais – who led the worshipers in Tarawih prayers and completed the recital of the Holy Qur’an – prayed that Allah Almighty may accept, forgive, and protect from hell. The worshipers flocked early to the Grand Mosque, amid a system of standard services and harmony between the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques and the security system to manage crowds and provide services to the guests of Rahman at the Grand Mosque on the night of 29 Ramadan.

Al-Sudais: Success on the night of the 29th

The General President of the Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced the success of the operational plan for the 29th night of Ramadan, through executive reports according to governance results, maximizing strengths and measuring the impact of visitors and their satisfaction with services according to governance questionnaires. Dr. Al-Sudais urged all departments to continue the distinguished field efforts and intensify them to serve the worshipers, Umrah pilgrims and visitors, to provide them with the finest services, and to facilitate the performance of their rituals and worship and overcome any obstacles that face them.

Dr. Al-Sudais praised the concerted efforts and capabilities witnessed by the Grand Mosque, the smooth movement of the crowds, and the success of the plans coinciding with the millions of pilgrims and worshipers performing its rituals. He thanked the Kingdom’s leadership, praying that Allah Almighty may protect them – for their efforts and services for those who visit the Two Holy Mosques.

Sheikh Al-Sudais recommended compassion, kindness, tranquillity, avoiding crowding, keenness to glorify Allah’s rituals, and observing public morals in the Grand Mosque. He Prayed that Allah Almighty may accept fasting, night prayers and good deeds from everyone. Through its operational plan, the Presidency was keen to diversify initiatives, programs and services, to achieve the maximum levels of comfort for visitors and destinations. In addition to relying on artificial intelligence techniques, digitizing programs, and harnessing electronic applications in various fields, in all international languages for destinations.

The Presidency also put field governance and its application on the ground at the Two Holy Mosques as a priority in the operational plan for RamadanThe purification teams at the General Presidency intensified the work of purifying the Grand Mosque, its roof, its yards, and its facilities and preparing it for visitors and worshipers on the night of the 29th, and washings it 10 times per day, according to a working system carried out by more than 4,000 workers, 24 hours a day. Modern washing equipment and machinery are used; To maintain the cleanliness of the floors and entrances, while washing the bridges and culverts in the squares, the edges of the walls, columns and corners, and the water drainage channels at each site.

In addition to the allocation of special equipment for washing the mataf (the circumambulation area around the Kaaba) and electrical mechanisms for removing waste outside the Grand Mosque.Millions of worshipers and pilgrims were keen to attend the night of 29 Ramadan to witness the completion of the recital of the Holy Qur’an. The crowd management plans of the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques on the 29th night achieved great success as a result of integration and harmony with success partners amid an integrated work system through an operations room to follow up the process of managing crowds.

This came in accordance with the pillars of the operational plan that included intensifying human and technical services in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, raising the full capacity and preserving the safety, health and security of those who visit the Two Holy Mosques. Despite the huge number of worshipers, which exceeded two million, the proactive plans and the mobilization of the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques fully operational capacity for the chapels of the third Saudi expansion, as well as the external arenas and the expansion of King Fahd to accommodate the millions of worshipers and Umrah performers.
