At least seven people, including four children and two women, sustained burn injuries in a gas leak explosion at a residential house on Range Road, on Tuesday. According to a private news channel, rescue official said that accumulated gas inside the house ignited, triggering a powerful blast followed by a fire. The explosion caused structural damage and alarmed residents in the vicinity.
Rescue 1122 teams swiftly responded, extinguishing the blaze and preventing it from spreading to nearby houses. The injured were given first aid on-site and later shifted to the burn unit of Holy Family Hospital, where some are reported to be in critical condition. Police and forensic teams have sealed the area and initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of the incident.
