On the special instructions of District Police Officer, (DPO) Dr. Zahidullah Khan, ASP Headquarters Kohat Bakht Bedar on Monday visited Imambargahs located in different villages of Bangash area in view of holy month of Muharram. The purpose of the visit was to review the security arrangements and ensure peace and order during the holy month.

The ASP along with SHO Police Station Usterzai, Jaber Khan visited Imambargahs located in the areas of Chakarkot Bala,Sherkot, Mitha Khan, Usterzai Bala and Alizai.During the inspection, the ASP met with the trustees, administrators and security personnel deployed at the Imambargahs, and carefully reviewed the current security arrangements. ASP Bakht Bedar directed the security personnel to remain fully alert during duty and respond immediately to any suspicious activity.

The administrators of the Imambargahs appreciated the initiative of the district police and assured full cooperation. Such visits by the district police are being considered very important for the establishing law and order and the promotion of religious harmony during the holy month. DPO Dr. Zahidullah Khan expressed his determination that the safety of the lives and property of the people would be ensured during the Muharram.
