A police official was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Tarkho area of Mamond Tehsil in Bajaur District on Monday.DSP Niaz Muhammad while confirming the incident said the victim was identified as Saeed Ullah, son of Ghulam, a resident of Katkot Mamond. The cop received multiple bullet shots and died on the spot.Following the tragic incident, police registered a case and launched an investigation to trace and arrest those involved in the killing. In Bajaur it was the 12th cop martyred by miscreants during the current year.
