The federal government has cut down the electricity prices by Rs1.14 per unit. In this regard, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) issued a notification on Monday. According to the documents available with the 24News TV channel, the reduction was made under the fuel price adjustment for October. The documents also inform that the power distribution companies, including the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), have been directed to provide relief to consumers in their electricity bills in December.
