The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Monday approved development projects worth Rs 3.23 billion for the Jamrud tehsil of Khyber district. According to project documents, a PC-1 encompassing multi-departmental development initiatives has been approved. Funding allocations include: Rs 1.43 billion for the restoration and construction of roads in Jamrud. Rs 100 million for upgrading health facilities across 11 health centers in Jamrud.

Rs 200 million reserved for local government projects in Jamrud. Rs 1.494 billion allocated for infrastructure works, including pipe culverts, footpaths, drains, and model streets. Rs 1.5 million for the solarization of mosques and seminaries. Rs 100 million for the agriculture sector, which includes an olive oil extraction unit. Overall, the approved development package for Jamrud covers roads, health, local bodies, agriculture, buildings, and public health engineering.
