Kite string cut the throat of a youth and seriously injured him in Shadbagh area of Lahore.  According to Rescue 1122, last night at 3:03 am, Rescue Command and Control received a call about a person being stung by a rope.   This rope twist accident took place in Tokewala Chowk, Shadbagh.   The rope twist caused a wound in the neck of the said person in the jugular vein. 

After providing first aid to 24-year-old Bilal Aslam, he was shifted to Mayo Hospital.  Meanwhile, five persons were injured after a fire broke out in a house at Bedian Road in Lahore.  According to Rescue 1122, on receiving information rescue teams reached the spot and started rescue operation and extinguished fire in house and controlled it.The injured persons were shifted to Mayo Hospital for medical treatment.
