A retired dispenser was killed by robbers for resisting during a robbery in Jalala area of Malakand, Police told media on Thursday. According to the Police, the incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Jalala police station. Where some robbers broke into a house and looted cash and valuables. On showing resistance, the intruders stabbed and killed a retired dispenser with knives and iron rods. After the incident, the suspects successfully fled the scene. The family members and relatives of the deceased staged a protest by placing the dead body on the road and blocked the highway leading to Swat. The protesters strongly criticized the police performance and demanded swift arrest of the culprits who are still at large.
