Naqvi tells JI Amir credit for Iran-US peace deal goes to Pakistan Breaking

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a detailed meeting with Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman in Mansoora, Lahore, on Tuesday and discussed with him national economy, overall political situation, and law and order situation.  During the meeting, the Interior Minister apprised Hafiz Naeemur Rehman about the US-Iran peace deal. Both leaders described the peace agreement as a symbol of peace and prosperity for the region. 

Mohsin Naqvi took Hafiz Naeemur Rehman into confidence over the government’s stance on the Iran-US peace accord.Naeemur Rehman appreciated Pakistan’s sincere role in the US-Iran peace deal. On the occasion, the JI Amir demanded the immediate return of Pakistani crew members who were abducted by Somali pirates.Both leaders discussed the national economy and the provision of relief to the common man.

Naeemur Rehman said that Pakistan played a historic role in the US-Iran peace deal.Mohsin Naqvi said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir had played an unforgettable role in mediating the peace accord between Iran and the United States. He said that all the credit goes to Pakistan for ending long-standing disputes.
