Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday praised the security forces for successfully conducting an intelligence-based operation against Fitna al Khwarij in North Waziristan. The prime minister, in a statement, appreciated the security forces for eliminating five terrorists of Fitna al Khwarij during the operation.

He said that timely and decisive action by the security forces against Fitna al Khwarij has successfully thwarted the nefarious designs of the terrorists. He affirmed that operations against Fitna al Khwarij would continue until terrorism was completely wiped out. The prime minister emphasised that under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, the government's priorities were to establish enduring peace by eliminating terrorism.
