The police authorities across the Dera Range have been placed on high alert after a high-level meeting chaired by Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Range, Ghulam Mubashir Maken, reviewed security preparedness and deployment arrangements at police stations and checkpoints across the region. The meeting assessed the deployment of police personnel, availability of weapons and ammunition, and security measures for officers posted at police stations and checkposts in all four districts of the range.
District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ziauddin Ahmad, DPO South Waziristan Upper Arshad Khan, SP Investigation Dera Malik Shakeel, SP City, DSP City, and heads of different police units attended the meeting in person. While, DPO Tank, DPO South Waziristan Lower, and all SDPOs of the range joined through video link.
During the session, DPOs of all four districts presented detailed briefings to the RPO regarding deployment strength, security arrangements, and operational preparedness at police stations and checkpoints in their respective districts. RPO Ghulam Mubashir Maken conducted a comprehensive review of the overall law and order situation, security measures for police personnel, deployment of force, weapons and ammunition, and the condition of police buildings and infrastructure across the region.
