A Saudi Arabian flight made an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) of Karachi on Friday after an engine of the aircraft caught fire in midair.The captain of the flight contacted the Air Traffic Controller (ATC), who immediately directed to vacate runway no. 25-L for emergency landing and informed the captain accordingly. Soon after the emergency landing, an engineering team arrived to examine to aircraft. Sources said that the Civil Aviation Department was also informed about the emergency landing of Saudi Airlines plane.
