Six members of a single family were shot dead in a house in the Khatko Pul area of Peshawar, while a woman sustained injuries in the attack, police said on Monday. According to the police, three of the deceased were women. The injured woman was immediately shifted to Lady Reading Hospital for medical treatment.

Initial investigations revealed that the two parties involved were neighbors. The deceased family members were reportedly accused of killing a woman from the opposing family, which led to the retaliatory attack. Police officials confirmed that the accused fled the scene after the incident. Law enforcement agencies have launched raids to apprehend the suspects.
