Two people lost their lives and seven became seriously injured when a speedy Toyota Hiace van collided with a container in Pattoki. According to the report, the accident took place near Jambal Canal on Multan Road, Pattoki. The ill-fated Toyota Hiace van was going from Akhtarabad to Lahore. 

Soon after receiving the information, the Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Pattoki. One dead man was identified as Irfan, who was 33 years old, while the identity of the other person is still unknown.The injured persons are Amanat, aged 30; Khaddim, 45; Maroofa, 32; Ahmad, 55; and Imtiaz, 40 years old.
