Quinton de Kock reverses ODI retirement, named in SA squad for Pak tourBreaking

The South Africa cricket team received a huge boost ahead of the Pakistan tour as the left-handed wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock has reversed his retirement from ODI cricket.Following the announcement, Quinton de Kock has been named in both the ODI and T20I squads for the upcoming Proteas tour of Pakistan next month. The 32-year-old had stepped away from Test cricket in 2021 and announced his retirement from ODIs following the 2023 World Cup.

However, Quinton de Kock has not announced a complete international retirement.Lately, the left-hander was in touch with Cricket South Africa’s (CSA) Director of Cricket, Enoch Nkwe, to make a path towards his ODI return. And now he is all set to make a comeback in ODI cricket with South Africa’s challenging tour to Pakistan. Aiden Markram (capt), David Bedingham, Corbin Bosch, Dewald Brevis.
