A Pakistani delegation comprising representatives from around 35 public and private sector institutions participated in the Pak-China Young Workers’ Seminar Camp 2025, held here and at the historic city of Xi’an, reinforcing bilateral cooperation and people-to-people ties between Pakistan and China.
The delegation was led by Prime Minister of Pakistan’s Coordinator for Information, Ikhtiar Wali Khan, who addressed the concluding session of the seminar and highlighted the importance of youth engagement, institutional collaboration, and sustained Pak-China friendship, according to a Gwadar Pro's report.
The week-long visit aimed to enhance the professional capacities of young workers, promote mutual understanding, and further strengthen bilateral cooperation. Participants took part in training workshops, study visits, and interactive dialogues focusing on development, labor cooperation, and institutional best practices.
During the program, the Pakistani delegation visited historical, cultural, and heritage sites in Beijing and Xi’an, while also presenting Pakistan’s cultural traditions, social values, and regional diversity to Chinese participants.
At the concluding ceremony, Khan highlighted key achievements of the visit and said, “This briefing by Chinese experts and officials on CPEC 2.0, focusing on improved standards and timely completion, is deeply encouraging and heartening.”
Balochistan was represented by Member of the Provincial Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary for Culture and Tourism, Mir Zareen Khan Magsi. He was accompanied by Staff Welfare Officer of the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA), Nasser Raja, and Assistant Chief of the Balochistan Planning and Development Department, Ali bin Mahmood.
