The Pak-China Technical and Vocational Institute (PCTVI) has announced admissions for its Fall 2026 intake, offering a range of six-month certification programs designed to equip young people with practical skills and improve their employment prospects.

The institute is offering training across five disciplines: Crane Operator and Car Driving, Boat Mechanics and Engine Repair, Sewing and Cutting/Tailoring, General and Solar Electrician, and Mobile Repairing, according to a Gwadar Pro's report.

The programs are aimed at meeting the growing demand for skilled workers in Gwadar and other parts of Balochistan.

According to the admission notice, candidates who have obtained at least 45% marks in matriculation are eligible to apply.

In addition, the institute is providing tuition-fee waiver scholarships for students, along with financial assistance and stipends for deserving and high-performing candidates.

PCTVI, gifted by China, was established to promote technical and vocational education in the coastal city and help develop a skilled workforce capable of seizing emerging economic opportunities linked to Gwadar’s development.

The institute has been playing an important role in providing hands-on training in various technical fields, particularly for local youth and women.

The last date for submission of admission forms is July 10, 2026, while tests and interviews are scheduled to be held on July 20, 2026.
