Member of the Provincial Assembly for Gwadar Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman and Gwadar Development Authority Director General Moin-ur-Rehman Khan inaugurated two completed schemes under the GDA Old Town Rehabilitation Project, according to a Gwadar Pro's report.

The schemes include the Faqeer Colony Bridge and Kitab Chowk near the RCD Council.

According to GDA, related work included the construction and expansion of Club Road, drainage improvements and beautification measures.

Chief Engineer GDA Haji Syed Muhammad, Project Director of the Old Town Rehabilitation Project Mir Doda Khan Marri, former Tehsil Municipal Committee chairman Sharif Mian Dad, political and social figures, and relevant officials were also present.

Speaking to the media, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman said the projects were the seventh and eighth schemes inaugurated in recent months under the Old Town Rehabilitation Project.

He said the work was aimed at improving infrastructure in Gwadar’s old city and providing basic facilities to residents.
