The district police during a crackdown held 57 beggars during the last 24 hours. According to police sources here Tuesday, on the instructions of CPO Bilal Umar, a special crackdown was launched on beggars in the district. During action, police caught Muhammad Ishaq, Haleem, Mumtaz Hussain, Irshad, Safdar Ali and others. The sources said that operations on beggars would continue till their complete elimination.
