The American-Pakistani Public Affairs Committee (APPAC) extended its deepest congratulations to the governments of the United States and Pakistan for averting an imminent conflict in the region.

The government of Pakistan, under the steadfast leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, demonstrated unparalleled resolve in securing a historic ceasefire.

In a formal statement, APPAC, a prominent Pakistani American advocacy organization, applauded Pakistan’s tireless dedication to peace.

Dr. Ijaz Ahmed, Chairman of APPAC, and Asad Chaudhry, Board Member and Director of Media Relations, expressed hope that these landmark peace efforts would spark a new era of regional cooperation, uniting many Muslim-majority countries in a shared vision.

We also extend our warmest congratulations to Iran for recognizing Pakistan’s pivotal role and aligning with this expansive peace vision. As Pakistani Americans, we take immense pride in these achievements.

We believe this is a watershed moment—one that not only averts immediate catastrophe but lays a foundation for enduring peace, sustainable economic growth, and a future in which the entire region thrives in harmony, cooperation, and mutual progress for generations to come.
