The continuous rainfall in Lower Dir has prompted authorities to place emergency services on high alert, with Rescue 1122 mobilizing water rescue and disaster response teams across the district. According to officials, specialized water rescue units were conducting patrols along the Panjkora River amid rising water levels.

The Rescue 1122 control room remains fully operational to respond swiftly to any emergencies. In a public advisory, the residents had been urged to avoid venturing near the Panjkora River and other streams, as conditions remained hazardous.

The authorities also warned those living in vulnerable or mud-structured homes to relocate immediately to safer areas to prevent potential casualties. The people are advised to contact the Rescue 1122 helpline at 1122 or 0945-920230 in case of any emergency.
