Flights resume at Lahore airport after opening of airspace تازترین

Flight operations resumed from Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) Lahore to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar after airspace was opened which was closed after Iran’s attack on Qatar. According to the details, due to the delay, all foreign flights will be rescheduled and will and then become part of flight operations. 

It is necessary to mention here that Qatar and the United Arab Emirates closed their airspace after a missile attack by Iran on USA base in Qatar. Due to the closure of the airspace, all airports were closed. Now all the airports are functioning smoothly, and normal air traffic is resumed. An airline analysis agency, SIRIM, said that 26 flights were diverted after Iran attacked Qatar.

SIRIM said that 22 flights were going to Doha, which also includes 12 flights of Qatar Airways, while the remaining flights were going to the United Arab Emirates. SIRIM said that some flights were diverted to some alternative airports and some flights were returned to the airports due to the closure of airspace. Aviation officials advised the passengers to contact their relevant airline before start of their journey.
