Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Senator Bushra said on Tuesday that Pakistan believes in peace and diplomacy, not war. Speaking to a private news channel, she called for global maturity amid middle East tensions, adding that ego and military muscle only lead to the loss of lives, resources and time.  Commenting on Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, she noted that the delegation was tasked with promoting a message of peace globally.

“Pakistan wants peace, but peace must not be mistaken for weakness,” she asserted.  Referring to parallels between Indian and Israeli aggression, she condemned false allegations and unilateral military actions.  She also criticized the world powers for ignoring treaties, stating that if countries walk out of agreements, no global law will stand.
