Minister of State for Climate Change, Dr Shezra Mansab Ali Khan Kharal said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government pulled the national economy back from the brink of collapse and set it on the path to recovery.Speaking to a private news channel, she said the previous government’s flawed policies had severely damaged the economy, leaving behind deep-rooted challenges. “Those poor decisions acted like landmines across every sector,” she added.
Dr Shezra said the current government took difficult and bold decisions, even at the cost of political capital, which ultimately led to achieving sustainable economic growth. Referring to the recent conflict, she said all political parties and the military leadership played their constitutional role in defending the country. “It was due to this collective unity that we achieved success on both military and diplomatic fronts,” she added.
