The Kashmir Council Europe has intensified its efforts to bring the Kashmir dispute to the forefront of international attention, initiating renewed outreach to European officials and influential figures. Under the banner of the Kashmir Council Europe, a series of conferences, seminars, and debates are being organized to effectively amplify the voice of the Kashmiri people and ensure their concerns are heard across the global stage. 

Chairman of the Kashmir Council Europe, Ali Raza Syed, has written to several senior European leaders, including European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President Antonio Costa, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, and senior diplomat Kaja Kallas. In his letters, Ali Raza Syed has drawn their attention to the escalating situation in South Asia, with a particular focus on India’s aggression towards Pakistan.

He emphasized that India’s intransigence and its unrealistic stance have plunged the region into a precarious state of uncertainty. The letters call on the European Union to play a more active role in resolving the Kashmir dispute, stressing that without its resolution, there can be no meaningful improvement in India-Pakistan relations, nor can the aspirations for lasting peace and development in South Asia be realized.
