Mohsin Naqvi asks police to adopt latest tech and smart policingتازترین

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed the police force to adopt latest technology and smart policing in order to deal with the modern-day challenges. Mohsin Naqvi said this during his visit to the National Police Academy in Islamabad on Thursday morning. During a meeting with the with trainee ASPs, the interior minister exchanged views on professional and training matters. Mohsin Naqvi maintained that the trainee officers should adopt modern technology and smart policing as their motto.

He asked the officers to deal courteously with the public in the field and resolve their issues promptly. “The ASPs under training are the future of the country and we have full confidence in their professional capabilities,” the minister added. Mohsin Naqvi said providing best training and modern facilities to ASPs is our priority. The first batch of elite training will commence soon, he said. The minister stressed that the training aligned with new demands is the guarantee of effective policing.

He said the training and residential facilities at the National Police Academy are being upgraded to international standards. Mohsin Naqvi also inspected the under-construction hostel at the National Police Academy. He reviewed the prepared model room and directed necessary changes in the project. The interior minister directed the project to be completed at the earliest. Commandant NPA, FIA director general, NCCIA director general, IG Islamabad Police, and other senior officers were also present on this occasion.
