The Westridge Police apprehended a two-member gang involved in robbery and motorcycle theft, recovering a stolen motorcycle, Rs60,000 in cash, a mobile phone and weapons from their possession, a Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Monday. He said the suspects were wanted in multiple cases of robbery and motorcycle theft and had been proclaimed offenders in a robbery case since 2023.

The Westridge Police utilised technical and human intelligence to trace and arrest the accused, the spokesman added.Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan said the accused would be challaned in court with solid evidence, adding that efforts were under way to curb street crime and bring offenders to justice.
