NA Speaker meets CEO of Lahore Qalandarsتازترین

Speaker  National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq  met  with the Chief Executive Officer of Lahore Qalandars, Mr. Atif Rana, at the Parliament House in Islamabad.During the meeting, the Speaker  Sardar Ayaz Sadiq appreciated the initiatives taken by Lahore Qalandars to engage the youth of Pakistan in healthy sporting activities.

He emphasized that providing young people with opportunities to participate in sports not only helps in their physical and mental well-being but also guarantees a brighter and more prosperous future for the country. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq highlighted that Pakistan is blessed with immense talent among its youth. He said that it is the responsibility of institutions and organizations to channel this talent in constructive directions.

The Speaker  lauded the efforts of Lahore Qalandars for offering equal opportunities to women in the field of sports, terming it a significant step towards inclusivity and empowerment. Briefing the Speaker, CEO Lahore Qalandars Mr.Atif Rana informed that under the Player Development Program, more than one hundred thousand young players from across Pakistan have been trained.

He further stated that providing opportunities for youth in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains a top priority for Lahore Qalandars, as these regions have tremendous untapped sporting potential.Mr. Atif Rana also apprised that a Talent Hunt Program for Women Cricketers has been successfully conducted in more than 25 cities across the country, helping to discover and nurture female talent in cricket.

He added that the mission of Lahore Qalandars is to bring sports and entertainment opportunities to the common people of Pakistan, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all segments of society. The Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq commended these initiatives and assured that such efforts will play an important role in strengthening Pakistan’s image as a country rich in youth potential, resilience, and sporting spirit.
