A seminar on traffic awareness has been organized here at the National Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) to promote awareness among students and the public about traffic rules, road safety precautions, and safe driving. The special guest of the event was ASP Headquarters Bakht Bedar addressing the participants said that following traffic rules was the moral and legal duty of every citizen.

He said that the major causes of accidents include negligence, underage driving, and violations of traffic rules, which required public awareness to be raised. On this occasion, Traffic In charge, Arab Jan also gave a detailed briefing to the students on the importance of traffic signals, helmet use, and seat belts. He said that if the young generation starts following traffic rules from today, a safe society could be created tomorrow.

A large number of students, and teachers participated in the seminar. The participants appreciated the awareness initiatives taken by the traffic police and said that such seminars were the need of the hour, so that precious human lives could be saved from the accidents.
